1. Who this agreement is with
These terms are between you (the business signing up, referred to as "you" or "the shop")
and the operator of this software ("we", "us", "the Service"). By creating an account, you
agree to these terms on behalf of your business.
2. What the Service is
The Service is a job, quote, invoice, inventory, and workshop management tool for vehicle
repair businesses. It's provided as-is, in active development, and features may change,
be added, or be removed without notice while it's in this early stage.
3. Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for anything that
happens under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to
date.
- Only the account owner can create or remove logins for staff/technicians under your
company — you're responsible for who you grant access to and what role you give them.
4. Your data
- You own the data you put into the Service — your jobs, clients, quotes, invoices,
inventory, and photos remain yours.
- We store it in order to provide the Service to you, and we don't sell it or share it
with third parties except where you explicitly connect one yourself (see Section 5).
- You're responsible for complying with your own obligations to your customers regarding
the personal information you collect about them (names, contact details, vehicle and
damage information) through the Service — this includes obligations under the Privacy Act
1988 (Cth) if your business is covered by it.
- Back up anything you can't afford to lose. While reasonable steps are taken to protect
against data loss, no guarantee is made that data will never be lost, corrupted, or
temporarily unavailable.
5. Third-party services you connect yourself
The Service lets you optionally connect your own accounts with third-party providers —
for example a payment processor (Stripe, Square, or PayPal), an email provider (Resend), or
an SMS provider (Twilio). If you choose to do this:
- You're contracting directly with that provider, under their own terms — we're not a
party to that relationship and have no visibility into or control over your funds, your
account with them, or any transaction you process through them.
- You're responsible for your own account and credentials with that provider, and for
any fees they charge.
- We take reasonable care in how we integrate with these providers, but we're not
responsible for their uptime, their policies, or anything that happens on their end.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Break any law, or facilitate someone else doing so;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, or to another
customer's data;
- Upload anything that infringes someone else's rights, or that's unlawful, defamatory,
or harmful;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
7. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to
the fullest extent the law allows. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted,
error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. This does not affect any consumer
guarantee that applies to you under the Australian Consumer Law and cannot lawfully be
excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental,
or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including lost profits, lost
data, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that
cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including certain guarantees under the Australian
Consumer Law.
9. Changes and termination
- We may update these terms from time to time as the Service develops; continuing to
use the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
- You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or that we
reasonably believe poses a risk to the Service or other users.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [State/Territory to be
confirmed], Australia, and the parties submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
